Chris Wilkerson

Chris Wilkerson has over 22 years of experience in the private practice of law, focusing on fiduciary and business litigation. Chris has successfully litigated, tried, and resolved a wide variety of disputes, including breach of fiduciary claims against executors and trustees; will contests; guardianship disputes; declaratory judgment actions arising from the administration of trusts and estates; general probate litigation and administration; and commercial cases involving breach of contract, real estate, fraud, and other business torts.  Where possible, Chris looks for opportunities to employ creative, cost-effective methods for the early and successful resolution of disputes in a manner favorable to his clients.

Chris also spent eight years as general counsel for a privately-held business in Atlanta, where he was responsible for handling a broad mixture of commercial litigation cases which he successfully managed to favorable results, whether by dispositive motions or through mediation.  In his role as general counsel, Chris also has extensive corporate law experience, particularly in drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Emory University School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the Emory Law Journal.  An Atlanta native, Chris and his wife Susan live in Druid Hills and have two adult sons, Cullen and Patrick.  Outside the office, Chris enjoys boating, water skiing, history, and traveling with his family.
